Monday: A Conversation with Luke

This morning’s conversation in the car on the way to school. Note there are special activities at school on certain days during the summer.

Luke: We have field trip today?
Me: No, that’s on Tuesdays. You’ll do that tomorrow.
Luke: Water play today?
Me: No, that’s on Thursdays. Today is Monday.
Luke: Monday? What do we do?
Me: Regular school stuff. Monday is just a regular day.
Luke: That’s no fun.
Me: No kidding.
