2024 Year In Review – Top 10 Events and Milestones (Good and Bad)
- Destroyed my knee
- Witnessed a second total solar eclipse
- Visited my friend Charisse in Ohio (who lives in the path of totality for said eclipse)
- Moved Luke into his first (student) apartment
- Had no air conditioning for a few weeks in the middle of summer while Steve had COVID and we had to be in separate rooms. (0 out of 5 stars, do not recommend)
- Visited my first Frank Lloyd Wright house
- Visited the Louisville Slugger Museum
- Visited the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY
- Made as much use as possible of our movie theater before it closes in January
- Can wear my anniversary necklace without an extender
2024 Year In Review – Top 10 Accomplishments/Best Things I Did For Myself
- Started taking Zepbound and lost 55 pounds (25 kg)
- Went to the dentist for the first time in at least 20 years
- Moved my blog to a new host (thanks, Melissa!)
- Actually managed to keep a journal for an entire year, for the first time ever
- Went to all but one of my annual doctor appointments/screenings
- Listened to music more regularly
- Taking a few specific supplements that have made a huge difference
- Replaced my lost Fitbit with a RingConn fitness ring
- Started doing my nails again
- Started using Rogaine based on my dermatologist’s recommendation
