Zepbound Goals – June 2024

I’ve already set my overall goals for this weight loss journey, but I’ve read that it’s important to set weekly and monthly goals as well. These will not be actual weight loss goals (nothing related to pounds or inches by a specific date); that’s just asking for disappointment, especially when so much is out of your control). Instead, they are focused on changing old habits and building new ones to set myself up for future success.

June 2024 Zepbound Goals

  • Take measurements and pictures
  • Track how I feel – both physically and mentally – including any side effects
  • Try different injection locations to determine preference
  • Try numbing the area with ice or lidocaine (if needed)
  • Track all food intake, not so much for calories/macros (yet), but to see if there is any correlation between things I have eaten and any side effects I may experience (could also be useful in the future if I am not progressing as my doctor thinks I should be)
  • Drink at least 48 oz (about 1.5 liters) of water every day – aiming for 64 oz or more and trying to build up to 80, but using 48 as an absolute minimum
